This program will teach you how to install, repair and maintain machines that regulate temperature and ventilation in buildings. It’s more than working on heating and cooling elements though, as an HVAC technician you’ll also learn how to read blueprints to prepare space for pipes and ductwork. Technicians are also tasked with monitoring compliance with local government regulations to ensure that the system is installed in a way that provides for the most effective climate control in the building or space.
