Jeanie works with students from the time they first express interest in enrolling at Meridian throughout the completion of a career major and beyond. She is involved in the processes of recruitment and enrollment and oversees the areas of enrollment, assessment, student organizations and testing. Jeanie is a liaison between Meridian and the community and district high schools.

Jeanie’s professional background includes more than 20 years of working with adolescents in the psychiatric, higher education and career and technology education sectors. Jeanie holds a bachelor’s in social work and a master’s in educational administration.


Ashley Hernandez Torres
Financial Aid Officer

As Financial Aid Officer, Ashley assists students with obtaining Pell grants from the Federal Student Aid Office of the U.S. Department of Education. The Federal Pell Grant program (Title IV) provides aid for tuition, books and transportation needs. The Financial Aid Office supports students with the Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant, Oklahoma’s Promise, Workforce Investment Act and other scholarship applications.

Her professional background includes 6 years of experience in financial aid. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University.


Teresa Klingsick
Career Development Specialist

Teresa is a key member of Meridian’s admissions team who specializes in making sure students find their fit at Tech. Whether she’s giving presentations in one of Meridian’s 10 partner high schools or working with the district’s homeschool, private school or virtual school students, Teresa is responsible for sharing how Tech gives high school students a competitive advantage for college or a career. She loves data, and her attention to numbers is invaluable to the enrollment process and ensuring that Meridian can serve as many students as possible each semester. Teresa also oversees all of Meridian’s IEP/504 student documentation to ensure that instructors implement accommodations and modifications to help students succeed.

Teresa graduated from OSU with a bachelor of science in business education and a master of science in educational administration. She began her career teaching business and computer technology at CareerTech schools across Oklahoma, including Meridian.


Mark Lobsinger
Career Development Specialist

Mark works with secondary students within Meridian’s service area, directing them toward successful post-secondary pathways. He brings college and career awareness to the classroom through career exploration activities, as well as hands-on projects that demonstrate technical trade opportunities. Additionally, he applies Meridian’s mission of securing economic futures, by encouraging students to create the life they want.

Mark received a bachelor’s degree from OSU and spent over 10 years working in the engineering/architecture field before discovering his passion for education. Prior to joining Meridian, he was a high school engineering teacher.


Teri Ray
Career Counselor/Student Organizations Coordinator

Teri works with adult students and assists them in the enrollment process. She provides assistance in the area of career counseling to help individuals explore realistic career choices. She also coordinates student organization activities and helps students to develop leadership skills through various training opportunities.

Teri holds a master’s of education in school counseling and master’s in education leadership. Prior to joining Meridian, she taught in the CareerTech system and used her training to promote student organizations.


Jennifer Gage
Bursar

Jennifer is responsible for the collection and tracking of student tuition in all programs. The Bursar sends out tuition reminders and accounts receivable invoicing. Other duties include managing activity fund purchase orders, disbursing federal financial aid checks to students and daily reconciliation of accounts.
