How We Define It

Recognizing that when views, beliefs and values come together innovation thrives, Meridian strives to provide a culture of belonging that engages the full potential of the individual. 

Inclusion is how we ensure that all people feel valued, respected, appreciated and involved. 

Access is anticipating and addressing potential and actual barriers to an individual’s ability to fully participate by implementing solutions within a supportive environment. 

Equity is ensuring fair treatment for all according to their respective needs to increase access, resources and opportunities; treatment should be equivalent but may be different. 

Diversity is recognizing and respecting the value of incorporating diverse experiences, perspectives and identities into the organization for continual growth.
