MTC and Stillwater Chamber Partner for HR Matters Series: “Not Everything is an Email: Creating a Communication Culture”
January 28, 2019

Reading, writing and getting refocused after checking the 180 emails sent and received each day takes the average American worker 1,048 hours per year. That’s 52 percent of your time at work! Are you drowning in all this messaging madness?

On February 12 as part of the ongoing HR Matters series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Krista Scammahorn will present Not Everything is an Email: Creating a Communication Culture.

During this session, Scammahorn will invite you to rethink your workplace email culture and encourage you to consider how your actions and attitudes, along with those of your supervisor, impact the email practices of you and your work team. Her session will also offer practical tips to streamline your inbox processes once and for all.

Scammahorn has 20 years’ experience with sales, marketing, Six Sigma quality, and organizational development. She cannot wait to get out of bed in the morning to provide people with tools and resources to facilitate their personal success and that of their organization. Her passion is to engage employees through relevant training.

HR Matters sessions are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Meridian’s campus. Registration is $15 per session and includes lunch.
