Meridian Technology Center recently hosted Discovery Day, a hands-on career exploration event for district 8th graders. A local student puts his painting skills to the test on a virtual paint machine that is used in the Collision Repair Technology program at Meridian Technology Center.

The event gave district 8th graders the opportunity to explore more than 70 booths featuring different careers. Students had the chance to talk to representatives about their companies and find out about the necessary education and training required for their industry.
