Meridian Technology Center and the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce to Host Recharge: Beyond Stress: Banishing Burnout in Women
February 10, 2022

Burnout. Many women in America have experienced it, and they are stuck in a cycle of feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Expensive self-care isn’t the answer, and neither is the insistence that we strive for the impossible goal of “having it all.”

On February 24, Anna Irwin will present “Beyond Stress: Banishing Burnout in Women” as part of the Recharge: A Series for Women programming offered by Meridian Technology Center and the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.

This discussion-rich program will remind you that you are enough, just as you are—and that true wellness is within your reach. Attend this session to gain strategies for simple, science-based steps to help women minimize stress, manage emotions, and live a more joyful life.

Irwin is a Human Behavior Specialist focusing on the people skills arena. She assists individuals as they master their communication and leadership skills, ensuring they become invaluable members of any team they are part of in all areas of their lives. Irwin has worked with numerous organizations across the state to improve their leadership, communication and team cohesiveness skills. Recharge is designed to connect women and offer them an opportunity to learn, laugh and grow together. This series tackles issues that can be challenging for women and give them an outlet to explore and consider solutions to the challenges they face … with other women there to brainstorm with and encourage them.

Recharge sessions meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Meridian Technology Center. Registration is $15 and includes lunch. Stillwater Medical is the presenting sponsor for this series. Stolhand Wells is the luncheon sponsor for the February 24 session, and BancFirst is the registration sponsor.
