Essential Entrepreneurship Class
January 25, 2017

If opening your own business is on your bucket list, the best place to start may be a free Essential Entrepreneurship class.

On Saturday, February 4, Meridian Technology Center will partner with the Stillwater Public Library and offer a two-hour Essential Entrepreneurship program that covers the basics of building your own business.

Brad Rickelman, Assistant Director of Meridian’s Center for Business Development, will facilitate the session and will cover seven essential steps to launch a company with confidence and pitfalls to avoid. He will cover the basic questions that should be considered when deciding to open a business, paying particular attention to market research and financials, two major areas that cause trouble for all new businesses.

The session is from 10 am – noon and is open to the public. The course is free, but an RSVP is encouraged. Contact the Stillwater Public Library by phone at (405) 372-3633 ext. 8106 or send an email to askalibrarian@stillwater.org to reserve your spot.

The Center for Business Development is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs through networking, education, consulting and business incubation services. Assistance is available in various areas such as marketing, product planning, international business and writing business plans.
