Coping with Stress
June 8, 2015

Does simply reading the word “stress” cause your heart to beat a little faster, your breath to become a little shallower and your hands start to sweat? Relax. Stress doesn’t have to, well, stress you out.

On June 18 join Dr. Carol Bender, owner of Bender Yoga, for an interactive and informative session on learning how to harness the energy that your body produces during stressful situations. During the event Bender will teach you how to:

Put the brakes on your stress response
Identify where you store stress in your body
Release tension
Practice using breathing techniques to calm your mind and enhance your well-being
Apply stress-busting methods you can use at home, work or on the road

To attend the June 18 Business for Breakfast event, please contact Diane Maddox at dianem@meridiantech.edu or call (405) 377-2220 or toll-free at (888) 607-2509. An RSVP is strongly encouraged.
