South Campus (Guthrie) Lunchtime Learning Sessions
Leading Through Change: Navigating the Emotional Dynamics of Organizational Transformation | February 1, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Presenter: Rebecca Eastham
Organizational change can be a turbulent journey, stirring a range of emotions in both individuals and teams. Resistance to change often rears its head when disruption occurs. Effective change leaders have the insight to anticipate and manage these reactions. They do so by harnessing well-established change models like "The Change Curve," which provide valuable insights into the stages of personal transition. Join us to explore these dynamics and gain essential tools for guiding your team to success. Dr. Rebecca Eastham will lead you through the seven key dynamics of change, dissect "The Change Curve" model, and learn proven strategies for leading others through transformative experiences.

Life of Lists: To Do's & Gratitude's | April 4 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Presenter: Derrick Sier
Do you love making lists? There's something deeply satisfying about checking off tasks and freeing up valuable mental space. Lists help us organize our lives and focus on what truly matters. Join us for a captivating session led by Derrick Sier, where we'll explore the dual nature of lists. In this high-energy workshop, Derrick will show you how to harness the magic of lists to not only boost efficiency but also slow down and appreciate life's lessons and moments of gratitude. You'll leave this session with practical tools and a fresh perspective. As a special bonus, the first 30 participants to sign up will receive a complimentary copy of Derrick's book, "Life of Lists."
Storm Chasing: Capturing Big Ideas Through Brainstorming | May 2 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Presenter: Cara Adney
Storms don’t just pop up. The elements have to be just right to create these atmospheric weather conditions. It’s the same with big ideas. They don’t just happen, but when the right people and processes come together to brainstorm a project or a problem, the results can put an end to your team’s creative drought. Brainstorming is both an art and a science. There’s more to this creative thinking process than simply throwing out ideas for consideration. In this interactive session, you’ll explore what brainstorming is and what it’s not, why there are added benefits of bringing others together, how to create an environment that fosters creative ideas, and tips to facilitate a session that gets great results. In addition to learning how to make a brainstorming session effective for your team, you will also discover practical and creative ways to challenge yourself to think creatively when you’re working solo.
