Graduation

Join us for graduation Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Stillwater High School’s Pioneer Stadium

Due to the risk of severe weather in the area being forecast for Thursday evening, we’ve made the difficult decision to move graduation to the alternate date of May 20. We know that many of you may have family and friends who are planning to travel to be here and are hoping to provide ample notification. Our goal is to make the Meridian Graduation Ceremony a special and meaningful event for our students and families.  We believe the threat for severe weather tomorrow would detract from that goal. We appreciate your understanding.

We will use our scheduled rain date. Please plan to join us on Saturday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at Stillwater High School’s Pioneer Stadium.

Arrival
Students need to arrive at Pioneer Stadium no later than 5:30 p.m. and find a seat on the field within their program. The ceremony starts promptly at 6 p.m. The Stadium is located next to the high school on North Boomer Road.

Attire
Students should dress in professional attire, which includes slacks or a dress for women and slacks and a polo shirt or button down dress shirt with a collar for men. Stilettos and miniskirts are not appropriate attire.

Photos
Photos of graduates will be taken as they cross the stage and be made available for purchase after the ceremony. Students should complete the form on the the card they provide the emcee as they cross the stage so that the company may contact them about their proofs.

Live Stream
A live stream of the event will be available on Meridian’s Facebook page for those unable to attend the ceremony. 

Rain
In the event of rain, Meridian has designated May 20 at 6 p.m. as an alternate graduation date.
