Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard
Presenter: Julie Griffin
Change is hard, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. In this engaging session, you will explore the key ideas from the book Switch by Chip and Dan Heath, breaking down why change often feels so difficult and what actually works to move people forward. You’ll learn a simple, memorable framework that blends logic, emotion, and environment to create real momentum. Even better, you’ll walk away with practical strategies you can apply immediately, whether you’re leading a team, building new habits, or navigating change at home. Come ready to think differently about change, and leave with tools you can use the same day.

Ready When It Counts: Making the Move from Contributor to Supervisor
Presenter: Lorinda Schrammel
Stepping from contributor to supervisor is a big shift, and you may not always see it coming. In this practical session, we’ll explore what changes when you move from doing the work to leading others, and how to start preparing now, even if that opportunity feels further down the road. You’ll learn the critical mindset shifts, communication habits, and leadership skills that set supervisors up for success. Whether you’re actively pursuing a leadership role or you simply want to be ready when the moment arrives, you’ll leave with clear, actionable steps you can start using right away.

Navigating Friendship in Adulthood: What Happens When Forever Changes?
Presenter: Cara Adney
For many of us, friendship felt simpler when we were younger. You'd meet someone, find out what you had in common, and pledge to be their best friend forever. But adulthood brings change, and with it, a new understanding of what friendship can be. As we move through different phases of life, some friendships grow stronger, some naturally drift, and some end in ways we never expected. This session is designed to encourage attendees to think intentionally about the relationships that support them, the ones they may need to release, and how to build meaningful connections in the life they have now.

October 13 | 11:30 - 1 pm | $20

Know When to Hold ‘Em: Playing It Smart With Your Brain Health
Presenter: Amie Haar
How you show up isn’t just about what you do.  It’s about how well your brain can support you while you’re doing it. In the middle of constant demands, decisions, and distractions, many of us are running on patterns we didn’t choose and habits we haven’t examined. This session is an opportunity to pause and take a closer look at what’s happening beneath the surface. We’ll explore the connection between brain health and personal impact, how stress, attention, energy, and emotional patterns shape how we move through our days, and how small, intentional shifts can make a meaningful difference.
