Whether you're new to the process or looking to sharpen your skills, this interactive workshop facilitated by nonprofit expert Deanna Boston will guide you through every step—preparation, writing, and post-award stewardship. You’ll learn how to craft persuasive proposals by combining research, storytelling, and measurable goals to align your organization’s mission with funders’ priorities. We'll break down the key components of a winning proposal, from conducting needs assessments and designing programs to building a solid budget. You'll also discover practical strategies to increase your chances of securing funding, with a special focus on private and corporate foundations, along with an overview of government grants. Beyond writing proposals, you'll learn what happens after you submit, including how to track progress and maintain relationships with funders, whether you receive the grant or not. Plus, gain insights from experts on the latest trends in grantmaking and how to stay ahead in this competitive field.
