Makeup Artist

Makeup artists play a vital role in helping directors and writers tell a story. Using traditional makeup, facial hair, and even prosthetics, makeup artists are responsible for developing and maintaining the continuity of a character’s look throughout a production. This course will teach students how to research the right materials and apply as indicated by lighting and requirements given to them by the production. They must coordinate with other departments to create cohesive looks for the actors and assist the actors in removing the makeup at the end of the day. Due to class size limitations, participants may be asked to submit photos of their work when applying for this course.

Participants must hold an Oklahoma Board of Cosmetology License, or must be a student in a Cosmetology or Esthetician course in order to enroll in this class.

Class Requirements*

I have a current Oklahoma Cosmetology or Esthetician License and can provide proof upon request.
I am a student in a Cosmetology or Esthetician course and am working toward my license.

Participants must hold an Oklahoma Board of Cosmetology License, or must be a student in a Cosmetology or Esthetician course in order to enroll in this class.

We will call you shortly to collect your payment and complete your enrollment.

Refund Policy: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your enrollment for each class. The deposit guarantees your enrollment and is applied to your tuition. A $50 deposit is required for classes $399 and under. A $100 deposit is required for classes $400 and over. We will refund your deposit if a class is canceled. The balance of tuition is due when the first class meets and is non-refundable. Unforeseen circumstances may cause us to change the date or time of a class.
