Test Technician

Primary Function

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Set up test apparatus, perform functional, operational, and environmental tests to evaluate performance and reliability of various types of electronic systems and sub-systems. Analysis of test data required. Job tasks are performed in a close physical proximity to other people.

Basic Qualifications: Ability to distinguish color. Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States (no sponsorship). Background Check/Credit Check is required. Must be able to pass a Drug/Alcohol test.

Education: College or above: Degree/major: Two-year technical degree or equivalent training and experience.

Required Skills

Related Work Experience Required: The ability to read, comprehend, and understand technical drawings. Ability to troubleshoot to component level. Must be able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Special Skills or Abilities Required: Professionally communicate information and respond to internal/external customer requests in a professional manner. Complies with assigned work schedules and overtime requests required to fulfill program and organizational objectives. Ability to gain proficiency in CostPoint and other relevant software systems. Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, walking, sitting, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Frequent lifting (up to 30 pounds).

Additional Education/Experience/Skills Preferred: Two year technical degree preferably in Electronics, 2-4 Years’ experience testing electronic circuitry. Working knowledge of O-Scope, DVM, and other test equipment


7:00 am – 3:30 pm with assigned work schedules and overtime requests required to fulfill program and organizational objectives

Salary Range

$18-$19 per hour
