Paint – Lead

Primary Function

Lead, plan and coordinate production for assigned area to include direct and indirect employees. Ensure labor is utilized in the most efficient and effective manner.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Supervisor substitute as necessary. Capable of leading 3 – 10 employee team between two departments.

Ensure sandblasting and painting operations are performed in accordance with customer specification(s) and paint data sheets.

Ensure safety and environmental compliance of department.

Communicates work schedules and duties to employees in a designated work area assuring production goals are achieved.

Manages workflow from start to finish. Maintains safety goals. May track and record employee attendance.

Recommends improvements to work area or schedule to supervisor.

Recommends shift changes or personnel adjustments as necessary to achieve production goals.

Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as required. Works with minimum supervision

Required Skills

Skills/Knowledge

Must be able to communicate well within all areas of manufacturing

Must understand manufacturing process, scheduling, materials, and machinery.

Previous experience assembling accessories on oil and gas production equipment.

Communicate effectively both written and oral as it relates to the job.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Experience

8+ years of manufacturing experience

At least 5 years experience painting and sandblasting.Preferably painting and sandblasting oil and gas production equipment.

Must show job progression history

Prior lead or supervisor experience preferred

Must be safety champion

Hours

M-F 6:30 am to 5:00 pm and every other Saturday

Salary Range

Based on experience
