Would you like to contribute to the protection of the environment and the operational reliability of our pipeline systems by maintaining all electrical and/or mechanical aspects of the pipeline system?! You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs in a professional manner with emphasis on budgetary requirements and efficiencies.
What you will do:
Ensure that electrical and/or mechanical maintenance work is performed in compliance with regulations and procedure requirements.
Assist with stakeholder engagement
Be aware of and follow Company safety and work policies.
Perform emergency response first responder duties including outreach activities for local first responders and assist in station tours and presentations as required.
Finish the required safety, technical or Operator Qualified (OQ) training and certifications.
Develop and execute equipment lock-outs and routine open system job plans.
Maintain and troubleshoot pipeline system mechanical equipment: pumps, valves, tank mixers, mechanical seals, petroleum quality and measurement equipment, motors, fans, and other mechanical equipment.
Collaborate with the Technical Supervisor, other Electrical Technicians, and Mechanical Technicians, to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance work efficiently and optimally.
Maintain station records and update drawings as required and use maintenance management system, i.e. Maximo
Submit as-built drawings to drafting department to ensure area drawings are up to date.
Assist Senior Technicians and project teams with construction projects as assigned: design reviews, Hazops, pre-bid tours, pre-construction meetings, mechanical equipment installation, and equipment commissioning.
Connect with and maintain a positive working relationship with the Control Center operators, Operations and Maintenance personnel, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Perform station housekeeping activities (remote sites): cleaning, septic service, etc
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent trouble shooting ability.
Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
Must live (or relocate) within 25 miles of the reporting location.
Technical or Vocational education
Preference may be given to a candidate who identifies as Native American.
Industrial experience with HVAC/R
Experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline system, pumping station(s) or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.
Familiarity with equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, flow meters, logic controls, motor control centers, power supplies and instrumentation).
Starting at approximately $26/hour
