Provide labor to move materials as required by various University Departments. Operate vans, trucks, gators, trailers and other equipment to collect and/or relocate campus materials.
Provide labor necessary for special events.
Overtime is an essential function of this position and may require work during nonbusiness hours which include evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
Must be able to perform snow and ice removal tasks, and respond at any time of the day or night when scheduled by management regardless of the weather conditions. This may require work during nonbusiness hours which include evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and when the University is closed.
This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally. Position will require work outdoors in all kinds of inclement weather as well as working around hazardous equipment and handling extremely heavy material.
Must use appropriate personal protective equipment as required (gloves, safety glasses, etc.). These items are not for personal use
High School diploma/GED.
One year of related experience.
Have before hire and maintain after hire, a valid driver’s license. A valid driver’s license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned. Forklift certification within 90-days of hire.

Three years of experience or two years of post-secondary education and one year of experience.
