Graphic Design Intern

  • Pursuing a degree or certificate in graphic design, marketing, advertising or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator to create concepts and designs for publications, both print and electronic, with high attention to detail.



Demonstrated ability to:

  • Develop graphic design projects that include print and digital work.
  • Work with a variety of marketing platforms and learn new technology as needed.
  • Successfully take multiple projects from concept to completion while meeting deadlines and details. Strong communication, project coordination and scheduling skills.



This is an in-person position on Meridian’s Main Campus in Stillwater. Applicants should submit a résumé and portfolio with their application to and may be required to demonstrate their skills by completing a marketing piece using InDesign with guidelines provided.

Essential Job Functions:


The Graphic Design Intern position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity and technical proficiency to create materials that support Meridian’s communication and marketing efforts.

The intern will develop creative solutions and strategies to solve a range of clients’ needs and find an appropriate compromise when necessary. Maintain Meridian’s brand, image and reputation while creating designs for a wide variety of materials including invitations, brochures, booklets, ads, e-communications, presentations, and Web and social graphics. Integrate designs across mediums. Take photos for marketing purposes.

Work Hours:

Approximately 20 hours per workweek

The Graphic Design Intern will be evaluated on the previously listed responsibilities to determine satisfactory compliance.

$11-$15 per hour and commensurate with experience
