The Food Services Director works with the Camp Director to create menus for a variety of participants with varying allergy and preference needs. This position supervises one to two other kitchen assistants to prep, cook, and otherwise create healthy, well rounded meals for anywhere from 20-200 participants each week. This position will live on site for the duration of the summer, and will have meals and housing provided as part of the compensation package
Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Knowledge of Health Department standards and expectations.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and storage regulations.
Creativity with various ingredients to try to waste as little as possible.
Experience working on a team within a commercial kitchen preferred.
Ability to set a schedule for those under the supervision of this position
40-60/week, depending on the length of programs
