Financial Accountant for Oklahoma 4-H Foundation and the OSU 4-H Unit.
Position will provide fiscal management for the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation by maintaining and managing all Oklahoma 4-H Foundation accounting records within the Blackbaud system. The position is responsible for managing endowments and managed accounts as well as checking and money market accounts. In addition, assist with budgeting, provide monthly reconciliation, revenue & expense, income statement, balance sheet, and ending balance reports to Executive Director. They will be responsible for processing and preparing daily deposits to banks. Posting donations and deposits daily. Preparing checks weekly for expenses, scholarships, programs, etc. and other duties as assigned.
Position will provide fiscal management for the OSU 4-H Unit by maintaining all records of fiscal responsibility for the department. Work closely with the department head to update and advise on account statuses on a regular basis and assist in developing fiscal year budgeting. Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivables. Prepare deposits and reconcile unit records. Review and manage the departments procurement transactions utilizing the Banner system and Quicken/Quickbooks. Assist in working with faculty members with budget preparation and fiscal management. Monitor budgets and responsible for electronic record submissions into the Banner system.

Required: Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
2 years related experience
Skills in working with various financial software.
Experience or training in Non-profit accounting.
Some knowledge of 4-H
Previous work with donors or foundations
Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm with one hour for lunch
