The medical coding associate program is for individuals wanting to enter the medical coding profession. This program will help students obtain a basic knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, and anatomy and physiology. Students in the program will demonstrate competency in coding, confidentiality and privacy, compliance, and health information management. After program completion, students will be able to sit for the American Health Information Management Association’s Certified Coding Associate (CCA®) credentialing exam.
