Back-to-school Planning

The form is now closed.

We are working on our back-to-school plan and want to partner with you in your student’s education. We need your input for our plan to work.

Our goal is to develop a thoughtful plan that meets student instructional needs and strikes a balance between the health concerns posed by COVID-19 and the needs of our families. We will rely on our strong partnership with you to accomplish this. Our team understands how important the student on-campus experience is, particularly in a technical learning environment. We know that for students to be able to achieve their career objective through the curriculum we provide, that access to hands-on equipment and technology are key.

During this pandemic things are changing daily. Currently we are considering two options for the fall semester: all on-site learning OR a blended format. The blended format would include a combination of online and on-site learning, where students would come to campus two days a week for hands-on training and learn online three days to allow for social distancing. Please know that we have 10 area schools that partner with us to send their students to Tech. We are working closely with them as they put together their plans, which will have an impact on our plan.

Meridian Technology Center is committed to maintaining a safe environment for staff, students and stakeholders. As we formulate our back-to-school plan, we will continue to monitor all federal, state and local orders.

Thank you for your time and perspective on this important topic. We know that you are eager to prepare for the fall, and we will share more information with you as soon as we have additional details.
