Entrepreneurship Program
Ready to start working on your business plan but would like to do so within a formal classroom program? The CBD offers a 6-week program on planning your business. The classroom experience allows participants to help each other develop their business. Classes are facilitated by CBD staff and include a guest speaker each session.

Classes are arranged with one Saturday half-day session, and then weekly classes for five weeks. The total cost for the program is $250/participant, but the Saturday class – which covers feasibility and market research – can be taken by itself for $100 before committing to the entire program. The Saturday program runs from 9 am –2 pm and includes lunch. Evening weekly programs run from 6 – 8pm.

Please contact Diane Maddox at (405) 377.2220 or dianem@meridiantech.edu to have your name added to the next program offerings. Specialized and customized courses are also available for groups.

Business 101: How to Start a Business
In this two-hour class, we will cover the basic questions you need to answer when deciding to open a business. We will pay particular attention to market research and financials, as these are the two major areas that cause trouble for all new businesses. The class is free, but please contact Diane Maddox at (405) 377.2220 or dianem@meridiantech.edu at least two days before each class to register.

Classes are from 6 pm-8 pm and are offered regularly throughout the year.

Spring 2013 classes are January 21, March 11 and May 20.
